Meet the Fetus

So Lorenzo heard about my gnome-kidnapping plight and sweetly offered up this replacement gnome...

He even put in the eye dots! I've been calling it Fetus- it's a ceramic paint-a-gnome, so I will truly be it's mommy...it's like having another baby to replace your kidnapped child! Problem solved! Except this one has the personality of a blob. It made me feel uneasy, so I took it to the Boboli Gardens for a bonding session, as we had no time to pop over to Gigolo Island...

Me making Fetus blob thingy feel uneasy. It's an Italian gnome carrying a shovel, yet it looks shallow and vapid- Steve had a clueless look, but it was sweet and shy. But it's still a Fetus, so I can still take care of it...I need to draw on a little pair of glasses...I'm not sure what this dopey thing

me eyeing Fetus suspiciously

I decide to keep up appearances. Thumbs up!

So let us all raise this blob-fetus into...something.

Still Learning

What does IMOA mean?

Malta Malta Malta Malta..one more time 4 Amanda Malta

I just thought I would share with you this photo of Lulash stuffing me into a plastic bag. You all think he is so sweet, well know you know the true. If it wasn't for Amy and her wonderful photo detective work, I would of ended up in the streets of Naples, with all the other garbage bags. Thank you Amy Thank you!

Things here are going good. Quan is still in one piece....lmao I did find a restaurant called POINT BREAK....yes POINT BREAK, and I am trying to get Quan to go. I would love to see the surfing FBI agent dinner theater they put on every night at 8, but getting Quan to go...not so sure about. Here are some photos of the trip so far. Its beautiful island, wish you were all here to see it.

as for Steve, I am sorry for your loss Amy, Steve is a great little man. I think his mother found him and pulled him by his ears all the way back to Queens, or so the tabloids say.  But he could escape and make his way back into your arms once more who knows. It would be a great fight, but he did it once he could do it again.  Maybe you could ask SACI to give you all A's, because of your loss. I am sure they have some kind of policy.

RIP STEVE

Yes, our baby gnome Steve has been kidnapped! His giant woman protector was a fool and left her bag out of her sight for a second, and *kablammo*! Now you can buy all my ID cards on the street! Tragedy! I can get a new drivers license and credit card, but how many runaway gnomes find themselves at your door?! Let us take a moment of silence (cue Amazing Grace)

OBITUARY

Steve Gerald Wachowski was born in Queens, New York, to a wealthy Jewish gnome family. His father, Don Vincenzo, was a prominent rabbi but was murdered by the gnome wing of the Red Brigade for a rum-smuggling venture gone bad, and because he housed lepers, whom Steve exclusively interacted with during his childhood. Being the only male child, Mama Wachowski infantilized Steve all his life, and it was only recently that he escaped her overbearing influence to seek a giant woman protector whom his mother could not intimidate. Mama Wachowski and her evil spoon-bearing gnome housewife brigade never found Steve, as his little legs carried him all the way north into the protective bosom of one Ms. Amy. Steve lived in Ms. Amy's purse, which reminded him of a womb, and she relocated with him to Italy to further escape Mama Wachowski's far-reaching eye. There they lived happily and travelled extensively, Steve even surviving the wall crash that took Ms. Amy's tooth. Then on April 26, 2008, Steve was slumbering happily in Ms. Amy's fabulous red purse when some helpful scumbag relieved her of her belongings, without her knowledge. Steve is survived by his grieving giant woman protector, his evil mamma, Quan, and everyone who knew and loved him. Arrivederci, little fella!

Ciao Raggazzi

This my first blog post ever. Today I moved my shit out of the studio. I got totally depressed and exhausted after. Another sign post to the end of an era and the step off into the unknown. Then I went out had a great dinner and lots of wine. I feel much better now and less morose. Off to Rome tomorrow. Looking forward to having less company and being able to sit at the riverside and zone out. Have a good weekend. Daniel

back in beantown

hey everybody,

i did make it home! in one piece!  i have been slowly adjusting back to "normal" life by unpacking and moving back into my apt.  i have been trying to stay productive, but really over the last 2 days i have been catching up on Lost season 4 on abc.com.  thanks a lot Quan! you will be pleased to know that i am all caught up, and we can now talk about it over a few loud snorts and the pushing up of glasses on our noses.

i have been searching for jobs on various job sites, and starting to contact those old contacts that you contact when you are looking.  :-D sigh, the process sucks, but hopefully the outcome will be awesome.

that's all for now really.

ciaociao,

Discordia - good for your brain!

So, while Quan Amy and myself were eating shadily procured kebabs in piazza Signoria this evening, i realized that i should spread the word of discordia to all of you. The word of discrodia is an elaborate joke disguised as a religion, and religion disguised as an elaborate joke.
It only takes about a half hour to read it all and you will most definitely laugh your ass off.
This is the beginning http://www.principiadiscordia.com/book/1.php
This is where the book gets good (post introduction) http://www.principiadiscordia.com/book/5.php

Much love to all, and please post when you've read it... (with your holy name) I will know who you truly are!!!

Ciao Tutti!

Hey there everybody,

I decided to start this blog so we can all keep in touch now that we are out of SACI. So please keep us up to date with what you're up to! Are you in a show? Did you make something new and want feedback on it? How is grad school going? etc, etc, the possibilities are endless! Please let me know if there are any questions, or if you need help getting started.

Now that it's all over, I want to wish everyone the best of luck! It's been such a pleasure getting to know all of you and working with you over the last 8 months. If you guys ever find yourself in the Boston area (which I hope you do!), please come find me!

Best Wishes,
am
