What's the deal?
You guys, what's the deal with us? We never listen to each other anymore, we hardly even talk, and you come home at all hours of the night, always exhausted, smelling like the secretary, head straight to the medicine cabinet- Vicodin and bondage won't comfort you like the warm, loving arms of many post post baccs!
What is the solution? Is there hope for us? How could we let ourselves and our blog fall this low? Do you hire hookers fourteen at a time and make them wear wigs (and one bald one)? Then we can do this! I propose we either go on a cruise to rekindle our love, or better yet, be stranded on a deserted island with nothing but Sting to serenade us. Heaven!
Don't you want us to be as happy as this UFO cult? Then lets start posting, and at least a Hallmark card on Valentine's Day! I bet your secretary is getting something D:<

Hannibal made me cry!
No, not as much cry as a blubbering lament, or with some tearing up, much like when I watch The Notebook. There was also happy squealing and clapping during the Florence parts. Many years ago, I saw Hannibal a hundred billion times-it was my high school love and I drew so many Hannibal/Inspector Pazzi cartoons!-, but not since then. I should have held a screening of this movie, then we would have all gone out for fun reenactments! Boo, it's actually worse than I remember. The killer pigs are always fun, though. Let us enjoy these pics of Hannibal the cannibal prowling around our beloved city
*some of the stills are from this odd Hollywood Jesus site, which was the only place that had a still of the good Inspector hanging and disembowelled from the Palazzo Vecchio.
Double boo- there were zillions of Hannibal websites way back when- I had the FBI list with Hannibal as my desktop forever, and my mouse arrow was the Hannibal eye, and when my computer came on it uttered "Well hello, Clarice" when I turned it on! Ah, 2001.
Ooh, these two pics are an adorable pairing! Inspector Pazzi decides to capture Hannibal on his own. Clarice called to warn him that it really wasn't a good idea. The inspector goes to a lecture Hannibal is giving at the Palazzo Vecchio, and he has two police people waiting outside, but Hannibal is on to him, and in his own deliciously smooth way, projected a giant picture of a Pazzi ancestor being hung and disembowelled from that little balcony that I always wanted to stand on and make proclomations, then pulled out his ether rag and that's how he ended up like that! Then Clarice phoned again and Hannibal answered ("I'm afraid you've caught me at a rather awkward moment"). He gives him back his phone after, though. It's only polite.
"Bowels in or bowels out?". Then- swoosh!
Did any of us buy a fedora?
I shall end with the adorable twosome themselves. Clearly they are meant for each other, as this picture illustrates, and the crazy fangirl sites squee. Meh, who am I to judge? He did chop his hand off instead of hers in this scene. Then he fed brains to a child on an airplane. She can do better!

I'm still alive!
Hey Everyone !
I haven't checked our post bacc blog in ages!!! It's so nice to hear, about everyone and Amy's new friends. Just checked Lorenzo's Flickr page, it's pretty funny to see all the new post-baccs! They're all girls! It's strange to see that we were all there a year ago! Check it out, there's also a few pictures at Margherita's studio, too bad she didn't take us there! It's so nice to hear from Colin, hope he's rocking those t-shirts. Talking about t-shirts, scarves and what not, I've been selling a lot of scarves, I'm making also in collaboration with an emerging artist gallery in Boston. I've been producing a lot, plus getting into shows. I'm fascinated with lithography, plus I found a great and fast way to produce them. Colin, I can definitely say that I've become the Litho Queen! Soon, I'll post some pictures up. I really miss hanging out with you all, we have to come up with a reunion party some day! Amanda, I know you live in Somerville, let's catch up in one of these days. Samantha, I wish you all the best in Italy, make sure you eat a lot of ribolitta for all of us. That's it for now, much love and peace for all of you!
Best,
Ingrid

officially back in my element
So this is my officially school has started post. And it's official, it's starting to kick my ass... and my work related metaphorical ass has gotten flabby and out of shape. But I'm really happy about it, I needed to get back to work! The kids in the program are great, I've totally settled into the city and my new life, I have so much family out here, it's kind of crazy how at home I feel and how much I'm loving it, and it all happen really fast.
It's good to be back around theater people! Although I really miss you all! It's exhausting to try to get to know 80 new people professionally and personally so fast. And I have to say, I'm having one of those weeks were I would trade all of these new theater friends I'm making right now for one good post-bac dinner at Quan's house.
I'm glad everyone is up to cool stuff! I'm glad the Samantha is rocking Firenze round 2! Only you could manage. I'm glad that there is once again a family of gnomes shower love on Amy. (you found the perfect outfit for your gnome fetus). And I'm glad Amanda is still hunting down the same artistic element You're gonna hit something even bigger soon. Daniel has his shows and open studios on two continents. I'm glad we all had our little team huddle before running off in our different directions.
Much love to you all, and I wish you the best!

My Three Gnomes (!!!!!!!!)
Oh my god! After the violent kidnapping of my dear Steve, I thought I could never love again *violins*. Now, three gnomes have found their way to their fabulous new mama!
Meet Frank Soprano Corleone, a gift from Lorenzo after my Steve tragedy. He is fabulously accessorized, and because I had to paint him with my withered hands, aged by the misery of my kidnapped child-gnome, I am truly his mama, and will melt into a bloody pile of organs and woe if he is ever kidnapped. He might want to open his own little clothing line for gnomes- he's fabulous, dahlings!
What Not to Wear tells us the accessories and little embellishments are what makes an outfit.
He went shopping with Steve's long lost identical twin, and they probably had a bitch fight before buying the same hat
Yes, Steve's long lost identical twin brother! He, too, found the courage to escape from his overbearing Jewish mother, but then his plane crashed on an island and he got amnesia, then he married the twin of the most powerful man in town, who promptly banished him to a hole in the ground and tormented him in clown costumes, until Steve's long lost identical twin brother escaped and ended up on death row when his spouse was enraged that he left, and framed him for a series of gnome murders in Japan. He was bailed out by a mysterious benefactor and found his way to my loving...pocket earlier today. Hurrah!
It's just like I have my Steve back! I've been calling him Ricardo, then Vincent Price, and now Hugh. This is serious business! Steve 2 needs a name! Also, I dearly miss Passions and haven't found a replacement campy show- CSI: Miami is as close as I came, but it's...you know. Not...a good show.
Gnome #3 came in birthday present form- he's stuck on a yellow mug, but he's loved just as much! He also came with a name-Marcel- so I don't have to do that. I have a French gnome! Bonjour, Marcel!
Family portrait! We're the picture of happiness! I shall get a van, and we can drive around playing gigs as a gnome family band- I call us the Hart-Skinners, so Lexie has no choice but to join us. No disputing. Tra la la la!

HI HI ALL!!!
HELLO EVEryONE!
Well most of you know, I am back in the country of wine, pasta, and expresso, jealous COLIN (HEE HEE), I have been here now two weeks and I am enjoying myself. Italy is not the same with all of you here! I walked past Quan's house the other day and wanted to ring the bell, just to see...lmao lmao Florence has not changed, although the street in front and to the left of the train station is torn apart, so much that only public buses are allowed thru!
Luli is doing well. I missed him very much and was glad to see him. I have been going out to Prato to se him and running around Prato! His room mate is a bit of and asshole, so we try to go out as much as possible. But he is nice to me, because he thinks I will get the police involved, if anything should go wrong...lmao lmao lmao So I have him living in fear. He isnt that smart, considering Luli and myself are in the same document less boat as he is) so getting police involved would mean all of us leaving the country! lmao lmao
I have posted pics on facebook of some of florence south! where I have found only ONE other american, older woman in her 40's married with a kid in about a mile radius!!! (GORLY!!!!!)
Look to facebook to see! MISS U ALL!!!!!!!!!!
